THE CORN AND THE LEADER
I’ve seen the debate around the picture of HE Comrade Jerry Adams buying corn in Manchok.
To be honest, I love the debate. It shows what people really want.
We are tired of leaders who only remember the street when election comes. So it’s fair to ask questions.
But here is what Manchok people and Kaura people are saying in the comment section itself: THIS IS NOT NEW. He has always been like this.
The lesson is simple: You cannot lead people you are disconnected from.
Comrade Jerry Adams stopped to patronize a small business. He gave that mama profit for that day. He showed his children in that picture that dignity is in labour.
That is the kind of Deputy Governor Kaduna needs. One who remembers the market woman after election.
We move.
